Pace wasn't quite so good today. I had a poor night's sleep, and when you have to head out at 8am for a 9am run, there's no chance to make time up with a lie in.
Also, I've been concentrating on the new cool shiny thing in my life - my bike - this week. The plan is to find time for both in my life, alternating between, but a busy week meant that I only had time for one, and since I only bought it on Monday, the bike had priority.
That meant that the last time I ran was last Sunday, so I was a bit out of form. I hope to find time to do some longer runs again soon, but that may mean joining the local gym as the nights draw in, and learning to use a treadmill.
You see, I've been practicing my runners' excuses.
Anyway, run was fine if a little slow, but I made it and am delighted to reach the 10th parkrun milestone. Half way to achieving my goal of 20 different parkruns in my first 20 runs.
