Just back from second 8k and completing week 5. Have to say first time that knees are sore.
Really pleased as was able to get 4 shorter runs done on holiday in Spain with longer run just before and straight after I got back. Holiday was a revelation as I was forced to run outside - now I am a convert.
Did all my running to date on treadmill which I liked but now would rather be outside, other than I find doing intervals easier and better still on treadmill. Also now go to parkrun on Saturdays - which I find really fun for a change.
Not sure about 9k and 10k but then every time I run I always start out thinking 🤔 today I might not make it?!?
Anyway treated myself to great late breakfast out of porridge with all the trimmings and cappuccino!!!
