JuJu’s Week 4 Completed

Yesterday I completed Week 4 of JuJu’s plan and I am so proud of myself.

I did the 8k in 58m 28s so carried on to 60 minutes.

I’m sure my story is the same as many of you. Exactly a year ago. I started Wk1run1 of C25K in my normal clothes because I was overweight and embarrassed to be seen running. I finished C25K in December and have been parkrunning since February this year. It took me 45mins and 7secs to do the 5k. I was happy doing 5Ks but my times had stagnated around 37 minutes.

So three weeks ago, I decided to boost my stamina by running a little bit further.

My PB for 5k is now down to 35mins 16secs and I can actually run for an hour without stopping.

That first C25K W1R1 feels like a million miles away now. 😄👍

Cool... any idea where we can make a withdrawal? Wedding anniversary next month and nothing cheap to buy the wife so I may have to resort to the jewellers!

Thank you Run46 I‘ll do that. Is it a different badge to the one for 10k? That’s the one I’m aiming for 👍

I just got in from a 9k run this lunchtime, it feels incredible that in a few weeks I’ll be running 10k
