Hello you, we're fine, but Slinky may have to stop running due to arthritis in her knee, she's been getting nasty pain down the side of her knee, she's been having treatment by a physio/chiropractor who advocates c25k, but has found a gap in her knee, anyway she's responded well to the treatment and is improving, but the excellent physio said she doesn't want to see her running, so may have do something else like power walking and cycling to take off the pounding on the knees, we will see.
Can't win can she!
Anyway, I've just come back from a nice run in the Sunshine, feel better for it to.. x
Thanks Dave, I am investigating winter wear as we speak, also winter running routes as my normal river side route will be full of slippery leaves and puddles in the coming weeks (not to mention the dog poop under the leaves lol).
I am wondering if I need better shoes for winter...warmer socks definitely.
New shooos for winter! depends on where you run, muddy trails warrant trail shoes, just a bit of damp grass and road shoes should be ok..
As for warmer socks, we'll, I bought some 1000 mile socks and though they were nice and comfy being double skinned, thought they could be a tad too warm for my liking, so bear that in mind, you know what's it like when you're running and you start to really warm up..
Brilliant, thanks! 😀
Thanks to LIDL, ALDI and Sports Direct I have my winter wardrobe sorted. Cheap as chips and works a treat.
