My cat named Eeshan is beside me, I think one of his paws pressed some key on my keyboard and that is the reason for a few seconds that one of my posts was in italics. I have a separate keyboard from my laptop, it has a link from my laptop to my 37-inch television, so I can see everything much better than just on my laptop, at the moment I am using that, not my smartphone which I usually use.
Thank you very much Irish princess yes I just went for it this morning and the last 2 minutes I bombed it when I got out of the car after the wife picked me up my legs felt heavy but plenty of stretching before and after always a must ππ
Thank you very much UnfitNoMore yes it was a nice route and it made a change. No I stuck to the roads maybe try the waterways another time yes I went for it today and the last 2K I stepped it up thanks again it felt great finishing a 10K the greater Manchester run next May bring it on πππππ
I can see it too Alan only when I go on the website it doesnβt show on my app but it doesnβt bother me as I can see it on the website which is easy to use ππ
You should be so very proud of yourself. 10k is an amazing achievement. It's post like yours that I keep reading as I am now thinking about trying to get to 10k. It's just I feel knackered at the end of 5k but recover really quickly. So keep going and keep posting and I may join you one day . Well done you πππππππ

My plan is to do some consolidation runs then next year in May I want to run the greater Manchester 10K run then I hope to improve my time and then Iβm going to go and increase my distance gradually and get to 10mile mark and hopefully half a marathon but I will see how far I can go but Iβm totally loving my running and itβs great for my mental health and my fitness thanks again Lynsh XX
As if there was any doubt Kev! πͺ Youβre an awesome runner and fully deserve that achievement! I expect youβll be going for 10 miles before too long as well - and beyond! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Well done you - and donβt forget to claim your beautiful shiny new badge! π π π
Thank you so so much cheekychipmunks that means a lot thank you π yes I did it and Iβm over the moon with my achievement.
Iβm going to do some consolidation runs not sure how many to do any ideas what is the amount that you would do?
And yes I would like to take it further 10miles and see how I go and I hope to do a half marathon one day no weβre near yet but I hope one day that I would be able to run that far we will see.
And yes thatβs what Iβm going to do and claim my new badge πππππππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ
I personally repeated the Magic 10 plan for fun a couple more times after Iβd done another 10k a month after my first one, so I probably ran the distance about 4 times before my first race. After the race I began creeping up to 10 miles. Itβs very addictive having a goal! π
Good luck, youβll get wherever you want to go with your running. πππββοΈ
