My 2 goals at the beginning of the year were 5k in under 30 minutes and run 10k.
On Monday I did 5k in 28.47 and today I ran 10.5k in 1 hour 19 seconds.
Got to knock that 19 seconds off now π

Well done you. My first 10k last year was about 82 mins and Iβve not managed to run another since, and then I fractured and sprained my ankle , so Iβve had to start again-building back up to full strength.
Iβm on week3 of B210k at the moment and managed 6.5k today in 53mins. Canβt wait till Iβm back to running 10k.
Good luck with trimming your times π‘
Oh no, you poor thing. I broke my wrist in 3 places just over a year ago and that still gives me pain. I hope you have healed well. You have done brilliantly to get back to 6.5k. Good luck heading back up to 10k x
Fantastic! I'm also still going for that sub 1 hour 10k...
I'll race you! ππππ
Good luck!
π π ready?
Thank you, you too xx
I'm registered for a 10k race on the 7th April and I'm not planning on going over 5k next week.
Maybe we can have a virtual race?
I've done 1h25m, 1h16m, 1h6m, and been running slower since. π¬
I'm hoping cheering crowds will give me a boost! πͺπ
Well hello Gazelle! What great times, well done indeed! πππ
You are all stars. I am still grinning today xx
But, but, but... it looks like your aim is to run 10K in under an hour. So, since you ran 10.5K in 1 hour and 19 seconds, you must have done 10K in less than an hour, right? Alternatively, you could run 100m less and get in under the hour. Or am I missing something? Either way, congratulations on achieving your goals!
Congratulations Crocky! Excellent time for your first 10k too.ππ
