I’m in wk 2 of the plan am loving it so far, I really enjoy the challenge of pushing myself to the next level. I found the 6k run today really good, it helped that it was drizzling at times and cool outside at 7am! I kept the pace slowish and felt like I could have done more....should I be running a bit faster then? My pace was 6.2/km and on my short run on Monday was 5.56/km. I’m new to the distance pace thing so wanting to get a better understanding of the best way forward. TIA everyone!

Hi! Sorry I missed this post!!
Did you give it a try? If you feel you can run faster, why not!!?!
I’m starting to realise that the weather is a big factor in my pace, on Saturday I did my 7k run (well did 7.5k actually 😁) but it was much slower at 6.25/km it was pretty hot out there! I think I will start to work on my 5k pace and focus on the distance for the longer run...for now anyway!!

A lot depends on what you are actually trying to achieve. I tend to do most of my running in the 7-8 minute/km range as that seems to be my natural "happy pace".
Take a look at runnersworld.com/uk/trainin... and it might give you some ideas as to what to aim for.
