Just a novice taking part in Abiβs Summer Speed Challenge.
Not to bore you previous post says it all.
Went this morning because I did not go last night garden, neck problems all the stuff that can jump and bite you if you let it, particularly with a lapse of focus.
The gallop was hum drum, but I was calm, kept breathing very calm, relaxed1234 for my cadence, other stuff but not eye balls on stalks, not pumping my arms too vigorously because of my right sided neck and arm pain at present.
Stopped short of 500m, looked at my watch and kept going to record the half km.
Never thought much about it, warm down walk and usual stretching , home glad rags on into the garden.
Strava upload took ages, and I was pleasantly surprised with my 4:22 mins/ km pace.
See how I go before Run 5 and get it done latest Sunday.
Enthusiastic about getting below 4 min/ km pace but been here before with getting under 5 min/ km on previous speed challenge.
But I am there now but doubted myself.
Certainly going to replicate this calm and calm breathing and left,2,3 and right 2,3 cadence counting.
Keep telling myself, I am enough,I keep admiring so many inspiritational people,Pete Magee,James Lawerence and others and feeding off the magic forum.
Keep on keeping on, this generation know some stuff that will help you realise your dreams and plans.
