Ran 7K tonight!!

So proud of myself as I managed to run 7k tonight. First time I have ever ran that far. Plan was to do 5k as I haven’t been out since my last run a week ago in Lanzarote. But felt quite happy plodding away. Took me 48 mins so I was pleased with that!

I will eventually get up to 10k! It was very warm!

Thank you. I have been beating myself up a little recently as I keep thinking I should be faster but then I think I struggled to run for 30 secs only a couple of months ago.

Thanks, I keep feeling I should be faster and read about people doing 10k in less than an hour! Don’t think I will ever get there!

Good time, I am also gradually increasing my distance up to 10k, week by week on a Wednesday 1k more, last week it was 8k in 61 minutes, tomorrow morning I am going to run 9k, it should take me about 68 minutes, finally, a week tomorrow I will attempt 10k I hope in around 75 /77 minutes, yes a hour and a quarter. 😊 🏃

Thanks, hopefully it will be. It’s bizarre how your distance does build up!

Well done on your run - as it cools down now you will soon find yourself at 10k! Good luck!👍🙂

I must admit I haven’t been out three times a week as it’s been warm. Although I took my stuff on holiday I only ran once! Just couldn’t get out of bed early enough 😂
