A great week

So a lot has happened in the last 7 days. As previously posted I ran my second 10k (closer to12!!) last Monday (following an unintended 10k on holiday a few weeks ago).

On Weds I joined the 10k group at my running group so notched up my third 10k (also closer to 12k) in almost as many weeks.

On Friday I signed up for my first official race, a 10k road race which takes place at the end of Sept.

This morning I recorded my fastest 5k at Exmouth Parkrun with a time of 25:29.

I know I am breaking ‘the rules’ since graduating from C25K at the end of July but my body is not saying, “FFS Keith your not 18 anymore!”. So within reason I will continue to push myself a little bit more each week to build up to that race in 6 weeks. I keeping telling myself that with any race there is always someone at the back!!

Wow, that's impressive and I'm also a bit nervous for you! No point telling you to hold back, because you've been and gone and done it. Best of luck for the September run, and for goodness sake be careful 😂
