So i had my first ever running fall! It was a bit of a shock i must say but i managed to escape with a few grazes and a bruised knee. Gravel was stuck under my skin in my hand but a good swim in the sea fixed that.
I got up and completed my run - of 5 miles, thankfully no one saw me and only my pride was damaged. Note to self do not run over newly fallen leaves!
I'm all healed now as this happened last week before I went on holiday - just not had the chance to share my news lol.
Holiday running was disappointing, only managed 2x 5k's part laziness and part totally uninspiring running routes in Scratby - but at least i packed my running gear and gave it a go

Ooo sounds painful Alison, especially the gravel under the skin bit. 😖😖😖 Glad you had no lasting effects and have been able to fit in some holiday running. Any run is a good run, uninspiring or not. 😀 Good for you! 🏃♀️🏃♀️
I've fallen when running. Apart from the pain of cut hands etc the initial thoughts were one of embarrassment in case anyone saw my fall! Ridiculous really but I carried on running as if nothing had happened to avoid the embarrassment whilst my hands were stinging and pride taken a fall.
