...must come down. Twice.

At the end of last month I set off on the pirate ship on a long journey. I got 3km down from the marina to a lovely spot, and we promptly got locked down again.. So I’ve covered precisely 3km of my long journey.

The plan is every time I move my home I use that as an excuse to run back for the car, and that way I can get back into my running. As you can imagine things are not currently going to plan, but I spotted a footpath and wondered where it goes, so this morning I ran it to find out.

It goes deep into a valley, then up again, then down again, then up again. I Jeffed. Intervals were decided by slippery mud and steep inclines. A slow 5km completed. One of many I hope 🤞

That was a good run for you today BTP, nice photo of part of your running route, I wish there was either a boardwalk or bridge on part of my running route as lts been out of bounds for months now with flooding.

I love autumnal runs under the trees and this one looks great. All that uphill is good for your glutes, so well done. 🏃‍♀️🏴‍☠️

It looks a lovely spot, if one I think I would prefer to walk than run...

Slowly. And I walked up ‘The Beast’. Didn’t have it in me to run it today.
