Help with timing my run

I've looked but I can't find a simple timer that will notify me at the times I wish to input.

I want to be notified by eg a bell after a 5 mins brisk walk, half way through 33min run, at the end of the 33 min run and after my warm down 5 min brisk walk.

The apps I've seen want sets or cycles and rests and that doesn't seem to fit what I want.

🤔🤨😕 Please help if you can🤞

Dont you use the nhs C25k app. That gives you the timings

I've looked into a timer for intervals and I came up with Intervals Pro timer app by FourthFrame Technology. It lets you set the intervals times and has audio instructions or a bell etc I think it costs though if you want the bells and whistles.

there is basic blurb on app store but to drill down about how it works I'd email them

MissW, if Footleg is posting in the Bridge and asking about 33 minute runs he/she has presumably finished C25k 🙂

You can programme something like this into Runkeeper very easily. It’s a free app

That's the best one yet. Thank you for this 😁

That’s just two 16.5 minute intervals with a 5 minute warm up and warm down. So any interval timer that has warm up and warm down should do it. I use a free one from the Apple App Store that’s just called ‘Interval Timer’.

I know, it should be easy! But I've struggled. I got runkeeper and I'll be trying my programmed times tomorrow.

(I have an android)

That’s the one I found on App Store. Sounds good

I didn’t know that Runkeeper did that 🙂

When I originally did C25K I put all the run intervals into runkeeper. I have never got on with earbuds, either from a comfort or feeling safe perspective, so the app or podcast were not really an option.

Runkeeper worked a treat this morning, I had one of the best runs ever and the furthest 😁 in the breezy fine drizzle!

I'm so pleased because I've entered a 5k race on 26/08 so have 3 weeks to get to 5k from 4k. (I got that disappointing surprise after completing C25k that I was only running 4k in 30 minutes not the 5k I got off the couch for.)

I've been 'consolidating' for 4 weeks thinking my speed would increase if I ran 30 minutes 3x week; it hasn't. I'm amazed at how just entering a race can change how I feel about my running.

As I run 30 mins 3x week I thought I could run 33 mins 3x in week 1, 36 mins 3x in week 2 and 39 mins 3x in week 3. But I've just checked Ju-Jus magic running plan and in three weeks I could be running 44 mins which would be 5k+. I should go with the magic, shouldn't I? But when is the next magic plan starting???? 🏃‍♀️
