Mountain jogging

Joggingonthewildside profile image

So I’m in the Alps and after a weeks inactivity got my shorts on today and off I went trying to work out a route with not too many hills .. impossible.. started off ok and then ended up fast walking .. managed 3.3kms but at least I had this fab view to keep me company.

Look at those lovely hills! I’m looking forward to my fell running weekend in Snowdonia in a couple of weeks ⛰

I love the Alps, walked the Tour du Mont Blanc 3 years ago...amazing views. Would love to go back now and run a bit now that I am officially a runner! Enjoy 😉

That looks absolutely gorgeous! I had my (first) honeymoon there and can still smell the wonderfully fresh mountain air and hear the cow bells 🤗

All that mountain running will pay big dividends when you get back home. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

Just reading your title had me feeling jealous lol!

My very first non-family holiday (with boyfriend at the time) was to the alps. Many years ago now but I still remember it well.

I imagine just fast walking those hills will give you great exercise, calorie burn and muscle strengthening!
