Postponed, not due to weather or injury or the demands of entertaining children and grandchildren who are staying this week. But due to the irredeemable rubbishy calorific junk available at nearly all attractions, cafes and pubs here.
I suppose I could sit in a corner eating a humanely slaughtered organic quinoa salad while they hit the heart attack specials, but last night the pub’s “Bad Boy Burger” was too hard to resist! 🍔👈.
I groaned with indigestion all night.
But today’s a new day ☀️!! New start. Run tomorrow.
On request I will describe the Bad Boy burger!

OK, you asked for it: a brioche bun containing a burger, two rashers of bacon, cheese, a steak and breadcrumbed chicken fillet with barbecue sauce. Plus chips. But offset by a side salad, thank goodness. All for £6.50.
Absolutely: the ubiquitous red and green pepper slices, cucumber slices, lettuce and vinaigrette, probably preprepared by Les Frères Brakes. The best thing on the plate!!
Just wonder how many calories that burger had, I mean if you had to 'run' that off, if you could that might be a half marathon which is about 1,300 calories,
Hi D5. I managed to get out today for a 30 minute hilly before any of them were half way to stirring their stumps. The Toxic Ten lasted for twenty but all well now 😋
