On holiday in a beautiful place, in a wonderful hotel, with your crazy family:
1. You initially researched the holiday looking for a gym and/or running routes. Only a run friendly venue made the shortlist.
2. The first thing you packed was your running gear. (Before the bikini and beach stuff).
3. You check the results of your local Parkrun to see where you would’ve come if you were at home.
4. You realise that your dates clashed with the club’s 10k race and thought (briefly) about rearranging, didn’t (obviously, that would be obsessive) but were a bit sad on the day to be missing it, and then haunted everyone’s Strava profile.
5. Planned days around when you could go out or to the gym.
6. Learned to use a treadmill, even though you hated it, because it was 35° and you’re not insane.
7. Post on the healthunlocked website while still on holiday!
Must get on with the sunbathing tomorrow! Happyrunning everyone.🏃♀️😊🤪

Mine get their skin from their dad thank goodness and always tanned well, although they’re past the age of chasing around with suncream and swim tops now. I am the standing joke of the family 😞. My new motto - I’ve told you what will happen if you lie out with no top at noon. Your skin, your responsibility!
The one time we didn’t take our gear there was a multi distance event, almost on the doorstep of our hotel....(long course weekend Majorca)....other half ended up doing the 10k in soft walking shoes, and old pair of linen shorts.....cut a bit shorter.....and an event t-shirt bought at the expo the day before 😂......I didn’t as didn’t have the bolder holder......no can do....no way....😒......sadly......
We won’t go anywhere without the gear again........Obsessed?.......😂......never.......
