Thank you so much π JaoJao yes it definitely does make you leaner fitter and brings the best out in us π but you look slim anyway π Iβve been also doing gym as well as the running and I even have a cheeky beer at the weekend xx
Great work... just 4 months in and youβre at (or close to) healthy BMI I think and your fitness levels are almost immeasurably up from where you started. You have a base now to go and achieve anything you choose... enjoy that journey to 10k
Thank you so much I feel so much better in myself now no more heart burn lol π due to being overweight but thatβs in the past now I just need my shorts and jeans taking in π but my tops are fine as I have broad shoulders. And Iβm going to love finishing the 10K because I know I can do it π
Weβve probably cost ourselves a few quid in bottom half clothing π€£. Iβm the same with tops, I still wear XL for my shoulders and I actually like them being loose these days!
Hi Kev, a very good post from you telling us all of your running stats, weight etc, so I better tell you mine as well.
Started C25K 18th April 2018
Graduated. 18th June 2018
First Parkrun 13th July. 2019
working on a 10K??π π
Start weight about 11 stone
Just weighed myself this very moment I weigh 10.5 stone and my BMI (body mass index) is 23.1.
Perhaps running has helped me to reduce both my weight and BMI a little, I still occasionally eat junk food, I go to Burger King once every 3 weeks. π
Thank you so much oldfloss ππ a 10K at the moment doing the training for it but today looks like Iβm going to get wet wet wet π a bit of rain wonβt do me no harm π
Thank you so much it can as you tear the muscle when running you burn fat but muscle weighs more than fat π so in that sense itβs good weight gain π
I didn't loose weight on c25k but lots of people thought I did so maybe confidence and a bit of tightening/ change in muscle tone. I'm sure I have heard muscle weighs more than fat.
Sounds like you toned up. That's always a good thing. I'm happy with my weight. I just wish middle aged spread was a special chocolate spread to put on toast, rather than extra middle-padding where it's NOT required ! π
Thank you so much and Iβve just got back from a 45min run π itβs took time but so worth it thank you for your kind words ππππππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ
Well done you , amazing achievements on your running and weight loss. We have always been told eat less move more . It's not until you actually do it you see the results as I have done to. π
Thank you Buddy very well said π and well done to you too keeping active has a massive role on your health and well-being πππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈπππππ
Thank you so much I am very proud of myself and of the achievements I have made which has changed my life for the better and now on a Friday I make sure I donβt drink much as I donβt want to miss parkrun π the things we do for running πππ
Thank you very much I am now that all my clothes fit me apart from my shorts too big jeans will get away with them as they have elastine in them makes them very stretchy so at the moment jeans and shorts belts on lol and now I like what I see in the mirror itβs so worth it running has changed me and the gym has looks like I might get my shorts altered but donβt know weβre to take them as they are my best π
Definitely is Iβm never going back to the old me never never liked it always felt not right now I feel great πππππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈπ
