This is what I’ve done so far but I didn’t get weighed for 4 weeks before I started all this so I probably weighed a little bit more than 14st 2lb πŸ˜‚

Started C25K 26/03/19

Completed C25K 9/06/19

My first park-run 15/06/19 and many more to come πŸ˜‰

My first event race for life 5K Heaton park

On the 14/07/19

Started 10K 17/07/19

Completed 10K not yet πŸ˜‚

Start weight 14st 2lb 26/02/19 now 31/07/17 12st 2lb

I’m so so happy I’m over the moon what I’ve done and more doors to open πŸ˜‰

When you put it like that, you’ve done so well! I still weight the same as before I started c25k but I am much leaner :)

Kevtrev profile image
KevtrevGraduate10β€’ in reply toJaoJao

Thank you so much 😊 JaoJao yes it definitely does make you leaner fitter and brings the best out in us πŸ˜‰ but you look slim anyway πŸ˜‰ I’ve been also doing gym as well as the running and I even have a cheeky beer at the weekend xx

Great work... just 4 months in and you’re at (or close to) healthy BMI I think and your fitness levels are almost immeasurably up from where you started. You have a base now to go and achieve anything you choose... enjoy that journey to 10k

Kevtrev profile image
KevtrevGraduate10β€’ in reply toUnfitNoMore

Thank you so much I feel so much better in myself now no more heart burn lol πŸ˜‚ due to being overweight but that’s in the past now I just need my shorts and jeans taking in πŸ˜‚ but my tops are fine as I have broad shoulders. And I’m going to love finishing the 10K because I know I can do it πŸ˜‰

UnfitNoMore profile image
UnfitNoMoreGraduate10β€’ in reply toKevtrev

We’ve probably cost ourselves a few quid in bottom half clothing 🀣. I’m the same with tops, I still wear XL for my shoulders and I actually like them being loose these days!

πŸ˜‚ I like them fitted but hay ho I will use my belt to keep them up πŸ˜‚

Hi Kev, a very good post from you telling us all of your running stats, weight etc, so I better tell you mine as well.

Started C25K 18th April 2018

Graduated. 18th June 2018

First Parkrun 13th July. 2019

working on a 10K??πŸ˜€ πŸƒ

Start weight about 11 stone

Just weighed myself this very moment I weigh 10.5 stone and my BMI (body mass index) is 23.1.

Perhaps running has helped me to reduce both my weight and BMI a little, I still occasionally eat junk food, I go to Burger King once every 3 weeks. 😊

Kevtrev profile image
KevtrevGraduate10β€’ in reply toAlMorr

Thanks Alan good going and a great bmi Burger King the only time I’ve seen one is on holiday lol they don’t seem to have them near me πŸ˜‰πŸ‘

Great figures (and obviously an improvement in your figure)! Well done .

Am I the only person who found C25K made me hungry and put on weight? Maybe my friend is right and it's all muscle... πŸ’ͺ

Kevtrev profile image
KevtrevGraduate10β€’ in reply toBaddieThePirate

Thank you so much it can as you tear the muscle when running you burn fat but muscle weighs more than fat πŸ˜‰ so in that sense it’s good weight gain πŸ˜‰

Evol profile image
EvolGraduate10β€’ in reply toBaddieThePirate

I didn't loose weight on c25k but lots of people thought I did so maybe confidence and a bit of tightening/ change in muscle tone. I'm sure I have heard muscle weighs more than fat.

BaddieThePirate profile image
BaddieThePirateGraduate10β€’ in reply toEvol

Sounds like you toned up. That's always a good thing. I'm happy with my weight. I just wish middle aged spread was a special chocolate spread to put on toast, rather than extra middle-padding where it's NOT required ! πŸ˜„

Thank you very much I am now that all my clothes fit me apart from my shorts too big jeans will get away with them as they have elastine in them makes them very stretchy so at the moment jeans and shorts belts on lol and now I like what I see in the mirror it’s so worth it running has changed me and the gym has looks like I might get my shorts altered but don’t know we’re to take them as they are my best πŸ˜€
