8km left to do this month. Went to Parkrun not caring if it was raining (unusual for me) coz it was hair wash day. Did 0.8km warm up, 5km Parkrun and 0.2km cool down. That made 6km. Went for breakfast with my real VRBs. Just had side dishes (so no bread) of 🥑, 🥓 and smoked salmon. Decided I deserved a trip to the hairdressers (this has been an important part of coming back from being ill and working at feeling and looking better). Then realised that the forecast til the end of the month is 🌧💦💧 and that I won’t be running in the rain with a nice hair do. So when I got home I went out for a quick 2km, which turned into 3km. I’m on target 🎯 again, AND looking less like a bag lady 😁. How cool is that? 💥☺️

Nice 9km Baddie and knowing you’re on target and with a nice hairdo too boot. At parkrun yesterday I wore my buff as a headband and hadn’t realised it was unravelling and had worked its way to the back of my head. I looked like a windsock! Unless I get a haircut in the UK, you will definitely recognise me at parkrun, I will look like a bag lady! 🙂
Hi lexi6, as I didn't run yesterday at parkrun this Sunday morning I intend to run a 6k using Mapmyrun and my metromone app set at 162 steps a minute, this should work out as a 7.36km run, 38 minutes 5K or a 45 minutes. 6k. The weather is dry so a little longer run today will make up for yesterday's missed run. 🏃 😊
That is very cool!!! What a great day...!!!
Completely understandable that if you spend on a nice hairdo you want it to last as long as possible
Is there such a thing as it runner's hair style?

Yes, it’s called the ‘Buff’ 😁
Great to hear Baddie! I can’t believe you ever looked like a bag lady though!! 🤗xx
It's a look I'm really good at. Especially when I'm painting the boat.
