Having bashed my toe on Tuesday (so painful I thought I’d broken it!), to run a 7K trail immediately after I thought I’d better rest for a few days (have grown to hate rest days!). Toe has settled and did a Parkrun yesterday to test it out; all fine! So, I’m off to meet up with my running group this morning to run a 10K trail. Brings this week’s total to 32K! I’m loving running more than I ever thought possible and it seems that now my legs tell me when they’re ready to get out and about!! Happy Sunday running!🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️

The number one rule is not to run on consecutive days BUT I think that only applies to new runners doing C25K and up to 6 or 8 months after you begin running, as you are now GRADUATE 10 and have been running for at least a year I think you will be OK running a 5K parkrun Saturday and a 10K trail on Sunday, I hope you enjoy your run without any toe pain.
Take it easy out there.
