nature on the doorstep

Had a wonderful early morning run today, clocked up 6km ๐Ÿ™Œ due to the fact i actually got up when the alarm went off and did not wait for the 10 min snooze so i had extra time.

Blimey the ๐ŸŒž was warm at 7am - luckily i had breeze just when i needed it. Whilst doing my runs on the glorious flats, i have been seeing some amazing nature. Last week i saw a bird but i have yet to be able to identify what it was? and today i saw a Muntjac deer...I never knew we had them, tiny little thing. I thought it was a rabbit at first and remember thinking wow that is a big rabbit ๐Ÿ˜‚ ! No time to snap a photo as it dived into the bush as i came past. It's amazing what nature comes out from the long grass/bush areas. I wonder what i will see on the next one

Well and truly loving my summer morning runs, its totally worth getting up earlier

happy running all you VRB's - keep cool!

Sounds like a great experience - I love encountering nature on my runs too. Yesterday I came across a white tail deer and she let me come close to take pics and a video - not bothered in the least.

Ooo sounds lovely Alison! The perfect start to your day. ๐Ÿ‘ Running early with nature around is truly the best. โค๏ธ

Iโ€™m heading out at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Not sure how far Iโ€™ll run - but this week it doesnโ€™t matter. Itโ€™s my recovery week after a long run last Thursday and an extremely humid parkrun on Saturday. All I want to do is stretch my legs and avoid the heat! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Nice report, Alison, and well done on the run. A glimpse of a rare bird or animal really does make a run magical, doesnโ€™t it?
