Ok so I can’t be alone in this. Last night I had a very visible sweat patch around my groin. It’s so embarrassing. It looked like I had peed myself. I had dark grey leggings on. Do other colours show any less or should I buy a little tennis skirt or shorts to wear over the top?
Sweaty vag’s😱: Ok so I can’t be alone in this... - Bridge to 10K
Sweaty vag’s😱
😵🥰 I do get sweaty but never looked to see if I get a wet patch! Maybe I should! You can get some longer tops. I was in Primark today and oicked up a bright neon yellow thin over vest and thought, that could hide a multitude of sins!
I wear black leggings that wick away sweat. Also cotton undies.
Black is usually better, at least from a distance
Black or patterned 👍🏽 I always worry I’ll wee myself so buy stuff where it’d be unseen 🤣🤣🤣
Love the article “Don’t be embarrassed about it – it’s a testament to your work. If you want fire glutes, if you want powerful quads, if you want a tight core, this is the price you pay.”...or your a fat sweaty lass😂😂😂😂

I've got no words!
For a change it wasn’t me who did that to you Jell! 😅😅😅
🤩😂, so true.
Then again it's something to worry about that had never occurred to me.
I had to resist the urge to check when I got in just now🤯🤯
I expect most of us did that! 😅😅
Yes! I have to check next time ... since today I always only had a look at my shirt!! omg ... 😅
🤣
Ok, I'm in the club! After my run on Tuesday I realized that my dark grey running shorts had these embarrassing dark spots!! 😵 Ok, so now I know that I will definitely wear the black shorts for the race next Thursday!! Don't want so see official photos in that condition ... and it's a corporate challenge!!!
I swear this forum is a perverts wet dream lol, between the bouncing boobs, bras, underwear and now vaginas...I am in stitches
Stick to black you don't see anything on them 😊
Black is good or try just shorts- that’s what I’m wearing in this weather.
I’m thinking shorts but of course then there’s the chub rub to contend with 😂😂😂
I can recommend lanacane anti chaffing gel for that. Boots sell it. It worked on a very hot half marathon yesterday between legs and bottom of shorts. The rubbing after a 8 mile run didn't repeat yesterday.
In hind sight should have done the boob canyon and underboobs around bottom of bra as well. Lesson learnt
Wish I had a boob canyon to worry about 😂
The other day I went for a run, left my house ran across the road and literally had to turn round and come straight home my boobs were hurting so much! Must have been a particular time of the month (but don’t know as going thru the change)😂
Lol, love this! My bottoms are multicoloured and no sweat visible although I get VERY sweaty !!! Grey is not a good colour for sweat anywhere!
Has to be shorts and deal with the chub rub. The more k`s the less chub rub.
I wear black shorts which are fairly forgiving. Having said that I left a distinctly damp patch on the seat at the cafe after PR yesterday. 😳
Black all the way! I wear the sweat wicking variety or shorts, the ones I bought have built in pants but you can buy them with a cycling shorts type part which may be better for chaffing. They’re normally described as 2 in 1 shorts!
I tend to wear black ones, always worried I'll wee myself 😂
But in the case of your grey ones, buy a long top to hid it so that you're still able to wear them until you go buy some more xo
I'll never forget queueing for a free massage after the Great South Run which was really warm last year. We sat on a row of hard plastic chairs and all moved along, one by one. Whenever we all stood up to move along you'd see all the chairs had a little wet patch - cue lots of comments and laughter 🤣
Hahaha
I always ware black so I'd not noticed... I wear running light pants and leggings and there usually soggy all over when I take them off I'd not thought about how it would look!
My stuff leaves a damp patch on the bathroom floor
😂😳😂
It could only happen on this forum!
Had never ever crossed my mind to check - won't possibly be able to go running again without checking 😂.
Love it ladies! I just sweat all over equally!! There is definitely a market for mid thigh tops though- I can’t find long ones- any good ideas? Or running in a dress like yesterday’s suggestion!! 😅😂
It’s definitely a sweat zone but then next to the 2 biggest muscles: bum and thighs so bound to be. First time I run a 10km i had to quit my pants in the pub as they were drenched. The freedom of no pants was amazing.
Gosh never thought of going commando but yeah that makes sense!
I’ve trimmed my beaver too as advised in the article although I remember doing a race for life once just after shaving my bikini line and it looked like I’d been very intimate with Desperately Dan afterwards 🤦🏼♀️
I didn’t run commando but enjoyed the freedom after. This explains my recent musing on wearing a skirt to run to create a breeze!
Wear a dress!
This whole thread is killing me. I left a wet patch on the sofa today after my run and I thought of you all. I will put a towel down next time 😂
Longer t-shirts hide a multitude of sins.
You are not alone!!!! I had never experienced this in my life until c25k, and even then it was towards the last week 9 runs!!!! Why are my knickers so wet??? How did I pee this much without knowing??? - Then it clicked. Now I get it every run because I am running 30 Mins or 5K and I shower straight after xx
I wear either black running leggings or fitness shorts (with a mesh layer). My shorts are very light colours and it’s not noticeable.
This is a very funny thread. Thank you!
I can't be the only member of this forum slightly traumatised by this thread? 😉
Mate if you’re traumatised just reading it try living it 😂
I am reading all these comments to my hubby....he wants more.
Funniest thread of the year and love the Metro article! I’m with the black brigade as it disguises a multitude of sins.
For those with chub rub, my daughter tells me solid stick deodorant is a Godsend.
This thread has made chuckle. The relief in knowing I'm not the only one with these problems is very welcome!
Well today on the advice of you trusted gurus I ventured out in black leggings (actually I tried going commando first but only got downstairs before I realised this would be a BIG mistake) and although it wasn’t as hot as the other day and I didn’t run as far the sweat patch wasn’t visible (it was still there tho😂).
So thank you all for your advice, support and humorous anecdotes❤️❤️
All women should read this post and it should be pinned to the forum!! So glad to know I am not alone! And definately black, multi coloured and my whiteish ones don't show it so much either (but they are quite think. I can image thin white leggings not being so forgiving!!)
Brilliant thread!!
You’re welcome 😂😂😂. Doesn’t seem to be a problem atm but wait till the weather changes😂😂😂
