I’ve been a serial lurker here, having been a poster while doing my 5k on the other site - you have been wonderful! Support, encouragement, ecperience.
A year ago I thought running was boring. Footie was my sport and there aren’t too many balls to head in the net when you’re running the tracks (apart form the occasional squirrel ...)
Not quite sure where to go from here, though. Did my first parkrun in Norwich last week and there’s one where I live in Nuremberg on Saturday.
At the Eaton Park run I came in 418th!!! From 499, (Sounds of champagne corks popping)
And I was 11th in my “age group”
And all thanks to you and your support!
You are there, every step of the way.

Yeah, but depends where you are on the planet. But I can recommenced it - great people, and about 500 there every week, come rain, come shine. See you there next year, Muddled?
Well I’m danged! Where are you situated? I’m over in Norwich ,my home city, a couple of times in the year, so looks like it’s a serious date!!!, Get those running shoes polished!😊
Wow, sounds like you're getting plenty of balls in the back of the net! Have you thought about joining in with Ju-ju's 10k Magic Plan? I decided to give it a go, wasn't sure if I was ready to aim for the 10k but so far so good...
Hi Debs, I followed Ju-Ju’s plan and mixed it up a bit with Laura’s 3 Bridge podcasts and a few “naked” consolidation runs, where I heard the sound of my wheezing and gasping. What’s a run without sound effects? I’d say, take your time, and do your own thing - you decide, and no one else! Just enjoy it! Every run is a victory. Happy trails to you!😊🐞
