“We’re taking it slow n steady this morning, ok? It’s 20 degrees n we’re running for 39 minutes so no need for your usual ‘must go fast’ antics! Slow and steady is what we’re doing, n if you behave I’ll let you loose on the final 5. Deal?”
That’s how my run started this morning n my legs actually listened! 1.89 miles in 39 minutes, slow as can be and Week 2 is done! But hey, my pace was still a good 2 minutes faster than when I started all this in January n I know I’m getting faster as the weeks go by. Actually starting to feel like I might get to 5k by the end of Ju-Ju’s fabulous magic plan! 😃

Yes me too with headaches in the heat, I struggled walking in it let alone running. My hands used to puff up like a goalkeepers and look like I was allergic to something 🤣 (and only very slightly now)
Yikes! That sounds unpleasant 😩 I’d get the headache n it’d just keep getting worse, no tablets would touch it n I’d sometimes end up with migraine. It’s brilliant how things we never anticipated are improving as we get fitter 😃
