Hear rate and running

I am 55 and have graduated in the JuJus magic 10. It is getting pretty hot here in Cyprus at the moment and there was a big run last night. I opted to do the 5k as was not sure how I would deal with the heat. Run went well, finished middle of the field (272/581) which I was chuffed with. Felt good throughout apart from a little wheeze due to some claggy mucous/allergy. I felt it was a nice pace and slightly better than usual.

My HR average was 159 which is below the 220 minus your age thing however that seems largely due to quick recovery and a long slow start due to a bottleneck. My fitbit actually shows my run was just about all in the peak zone, reaching 179 briefly 4 times during the run. For the bulk of the run it sat between 155 and 160.

As it is getting hotter here I am going to retire to the gym largely over the summer, maybe one run per week outside and 2-3 runs on the treadmill where I will do some interval training to improve fitness.

Question is I felt really good, and had no worries during the run, am I doing anything too wrong?

Input would be very much appreciated.

I would say that looks absolutely fine, though the sudden drop at around 1k is perhaps a bit strange - unless there's a travellator at that point :-)
