A bit delayed at putting last weeks runs on, I actually only did 2 out of the 3 runs last week as I didn't get chance to do anymore (I started a new job last week so that's my excuse!)
Week 12 for me was 'run 17min, walk 1' x3. I always find it a struggle to motivate myself to get on the treadmill to actually do the run, but once I'm on I always struggle after the first 2 or 3 minutes!! But somehow, I always manage to push through! 🏃♀️
Maybe its time to start outdoor running, but I'm scared to do this and fail! I've got a 5k race for life coming up, so maybe that will be the start of my outdoor runs! 🏃♀️

Oh Claire, running outside is so much better than the treadmill. I did quite a lot of c25k on the treadmill because of a very icy winter/spring. But I got outside for week 9 and haven’t gone back. It is different but to feel the sun on your face and to watch everything around you is just great. I hope you’ll give it a try soon.
Wow... 51 minutes on a treadmill? I can just about manage 5! It may take a few runs for you to get used to outdoor running, so I’d just try one a week outdoors to start.
Believe me, once you’ve had a taste of the great outdoors, you’ll wonder how you managed on the treadmill for so long! 🏃♀️🏃♀️
You’re already doing so well - give it a go, it’s not scary and it’s so much more interesting. I’m pretty sure you’ll find the runs go by much faster too - there’s so much to break the monotony! Try it - and tell us how you get on! 👍👍
Outside is awesome! you may find it takes a few runs to sort your pacing out so start off slower than you think you need to. Have fun with it, all those new routes to discover 👏👏👏
Apart from getting gait analysis done, and a few times when I was I'm physio last year I've never done any treadmill running. You find me in my natural habitat pounding the paths and pavements and the odd muddy field.
