Hello Jubelle, have fun on Sunday is number 1 priority. Don’t be surprised if you feel nervous before the run - it passes once you start running.
When I did Bristol 10k my last last week consisted of an easy 30 minute run, an easy 20 minute run and a very easy 10 minute run. It saves your energy for the big day, while keeping some fitness.
Photo of bling obligatory! If you want to follow us crazy people , you can also post a flat jubelle photo. (Race clothes laid out) 😂

Eat well, stay well hydrated and get enough sleep😴 🛏 💤
Running wise you are in taper week which means taking it steady You could do three runs this week, eg a 3k, a 5k and an 8k - all steady jogs. Or you could just do short jogs around the block. Whatever suits you 🙂
Good luck with. Have a fab day. Good luck 😃👍

Oooh exciting! I use to work in Weybridge yonks ago, it'll be a lovely run. Is it down by the river?
Good advice already. Gentle stretching, walking, etc good on top of a few shortish runs. The sleep and water thing makes a big difference but don't worry if you don't sleep the night before the race. For your first one it's natural you'll be nervous. Also don't drink a load of water on the morning of the race as you don't want all that sloshing around in your tummy 😣
On the day, don't start off too fast. It's very tempting as you're surrounded by other runners and the atmosphere makes you very excited (or is that just me 🙄)
Just enjoy the whole experience, feel epic when you get the bling and then come on here and tell us all about it. Whoop whoop 💪💪🏅🎉🎈
