Finally managed to get out last Sunday and actually do a comfortable 9k. I have been struggling a bit lately and the 9 week plan has spread out a little, but I am now feeling much more confidant I will do my 10k next week.
I possibly could have gone on after 9, but my planned route had been disrupted by a load of caravans, tents and dogs around my usual field so I had to improvise and in the end I decided there is only so many times I can be bothered to run around the little lake so I stopped at 9.
Never mind, I hope the caravans will have gone next week so I can do my planned 10k route without worrying!
Got my intervals and hills to do this week, then bring it on!
There - I’ve made my commitment to the world now, so no backing out.....
