Yoga before or after?

I’m a yoga fan but relatively new to running and want to fit yoga into my running routine.

My yoga course is 30 mins a day, best to do before or after my run?

TIA

I always do a 10 min yoga stretching session after a run (I use the Yoga studios app that has a sequence especially for runners). Longer sessions I do on my rest days. 😁 You could try a half hour after your run and see how it feels?

Thank you. I hadn't heard of that app. Going to try my 30 minutes after running today and see how I go. I've got time today, but other days the shorter version when I've got to get to work could be great so I will investigate!

Hi, after! I did some before and didn’t enjoy my run but after stretches I do a little yoga and it’s great. Someone recommended Adrienne yoga for runners on YouTube so I’ve done a couple if these too

I would say after. I find its a great post run exercise. But because you are warm do guard against over stretching, stay within your limits.

Enjoy!
