Visit to Physio (part 2)

I promised to report back on progress after visit to physio to try and sort out stiff legs.

Well, the first results were a bit ropey as a side effect of his manipulations was to unblock a constipation problem he said was also due to lower spine posture. (Not there and then BTW!)

The upshot was that my next two runs had to be abandoned after 10 minutes to return home.

However, Sunday morning, I tackled my 6 km hilly run and knocked 2 and a half minutes off my PB. Legs felt better and I could concentrate more on breathing and hip & shoulder posture.

So I’ll keep up the exercises and see him again next week.

thanks for the update and glad you are getting sorted out. It transpires that my thinking pulled groin muscle is in fact a sore hip joint and sending referring spasms and nerve issues to my groin and backside. I am now on gentle hip flexing exercises and I REALLY need to actually concentrate on strengthening my core to support my running....I am glad your on the way to maybe sore free legs. What a big learning curve this all is
