Odd one this. I use a Garmin watch and then send the info by Bluetooth to the Garmin Connect App on my iPhone.
So this morning’s run shows different info on the watch and the App. Not much different but weird eh?
Not much else to say about this run except to say it was only 3k but I really needed to loosen up my calves after Tuesday 12k. Feel so much better now after shower and some stretching. So much so that I put my Gazebo up for the summer.... just in time for it to rain. 😡

I have the same set up. The only thing I have noticed(by looking at the history watch display for the first time ever!!) is that the overall time for a run has a decimal point on the watch which is absent from the connect app. The latter must round the figure off. I just go on the connect app figure as I am only interested in like for like comparison anyway and the app has all the juicy data.😊
Yeah I’m not too worried about speed etc just like to compete against myself really. But just happened to notice.
Someone else was saying on here recently how they run with someone both using the same watches and phones yet getting different speeds and times even though they start and finish together. I found this when I ran with my daughter, wen it said she was up to a minute a Mile faster than me,which annoyed me for a while but now I don’t care as I’m still running and she’s given up 🤣
I’m sure a lot of these things are calibrated in men’s favour. 😜I remember when I used to go to weightwatchers, my daughters boyfriend came too. And most of us had 20-24 points to juggle with and he had 34!! And he lost about 6 lbs one week and they asked him how. His answer” oh I struggle to use up all my points”.
About 50 pairs of eyes drilled though him like lasers!!!
