I know 🙄. I got a slate coaster last race and a duffel bag today. I can’t complain though as these are very local races with limited resources

Good point. It is nice to support the local races, especially when they are new. I'm running a brand new race next month but there is absolutely no info on it. It makes me nervous going into it blind and it is 3 hours away so no scoping it out ahead of time. I was just so pumped to see another trail race in the province, I jumped on the opportunity to run it. I'm feeling the nerves now though 😰

That’s a long way 🤨 The logistics are trickier when travel is involved

I am doing a new race at the month end, where I ran today, so I can walk there The organisers are new to us hereabouts and there was talk of them cancelling as they were miffed (allegedly) at being second rather than the first peeps to hold the inaugural event. I’ve not heard officially so I take it that it’s still on

I don’t really get nervous but then i’m Not running in dangerous terrain 😃. Mind you I can fall over my own shadow ☺️
