Tried C25K+ Speed but not for me

150 bpm is an awkward speed for me the only good thing about it is that to run at that pace I have to lengthen my stride considerably and lope which makes me look like an overweight, aged gazelle straggling behind the herd ready to be snapped up by the nearest lion. C25k+ Stamina suited me better but I'll try Stepping Stone next run so I will have tried all three podcasts. I wonder how fast I need to become to outrun that lioness who's got her beady eye on me?

The podcasts are designed to challenge us..all about the discipline in our running..fun but tricky.😊

Many folk try them too soon after Graduating..and miss that point..This is why we recommend two weeks or so consolidation before trying them.

I love Speed and Stamina and like many if us still use them as stand alone or within other runs..I use Speed when I am short on time or at the end of a long run..and Stamina to get me going for anything over 2 hours..:)

But they don't suit or help everyone.. we are all different thankfully 😊

I think maybe with reference to the lovely lioness. Snail pace maybe more useful..hiding underneath rocks xx

I've been mulling over your comments. It seems to me that you're right about us being different. For some men, we get a tricky bit between singing ordinarily and falsetto and for some cars 30 mph is a pain - better to go at 32 or 28. In my case, I can go slower than 150 bpm or higher - it's just that 150 is awkward for me individually. My C25k graduation graduation run was very slow and I take my hat off to those who run further and slower than me. I did not mean to sound critical of any folk. Vive la difference

Not at all critical... :)

It is the awkwardness that is challenging I think... I disliked Stepping Stones intensely for the same sort of reason...ended up doing a sort of soft shoe shuffle...but all good training:)

Stepping Stones is very much like Marmite.. folk either love it or loathe it... I just disliked it.. tried it three times though :)

My happy pace is about 165 to 168...my HM pace was a lot slower though :)

All great fun and so much that we learn about ourselves too!
