Three runs in a row, I've developed a stitch at around 5.5-6k. One time, I actually stopped, bent double and it did relieve so I could carry on. The other two times, it's not been severe enough to have to stop to deal with it, but it's pretty uncomfortable pushing through it.
I am careful to have eaten a good while before I run, make sure I am hydrated and so on. I am running a steady pace, not pushing on for speed, a pace that previously has caused me no issues with a stitch.
Any thoughts/advice/tips gratefully received.

When I did c25k I sometimes got a stitch at about 2-3k, my only solution was to slow right down for a while, then it would ease off. Had to do it at the first sign. Doesn't seem to happen now, I think my lung capacity has improved.
I've always found stitches more breathing related than anything else. Usually by slowing up and breathing deeply for a few mins I could shift it. I have to say I haven't had one since graduation. *touches wood*
