I feel rotten. Started with a scratchy throat yesterday and barely slept all night. The worst of it is I was planning a long slow run today in the sun. Something serious has happened to me: six months ago I would have just been feeling rotten because of my cold: today I feel worse because I want to run and can’t 🙁 Will go for a walk later

Take heart Molly1973, your system will thank you and give reward for the time out you have wisely taken .To think , you now have even more time to relish the thought of your next run when you will have recovered and rested sufficiently to really appreciate the experience !! Rest and recuperation time is never time wasted !!
