Running is great

Now that's a few words strung together I never expected to pen myself!

Up early on a Sunday morning, out for a run before the curtains of the neighbors have opened and onto the canal towpath. Being greeted within minutes by a heron within inches as I passed it and then seconds later by a swan gracefully coming in to land on the canal ahead of me.

I didn't even notice the blisters on my toes at the end of my run and that didn't dampen my spirits lifted by the run either.

The afternoon saw me sitting cross legged in the garden pulling up weeds, sort of yoga/stretch routine!

And to top it all the weather forecast of rain never happened. 😀 Happy days.
