What a slog to run 6k today.Mega powerful mind -gremlins almost sent me home at the 4k mark. Perhaps a big supper and poor sleep contributed. Slightly lifted by the fact that the meadows are dry enough to run in and saw lovely Snakeshead Fritillaries on the way. Going to try and make the short run really count this week...meaning... find a hill!

It's strange how your frame of mind can let them in. I was just so aware how close to negative I can be................I'm going to called them Fritta lillies from now on!

Do you think so? I have been lucky in the past. I guess my stamina has dipped despite being able to run ok. Hope things are good with you.

I started running much slower, stopping in the middle of runs. It was so discouraging. Then I discovered that my iron levels are low and that I needed a rest. So I'm taking a week off and I feel the better for it already. Dying to get out for a 5km on Thursday. Maybe we need to rest these old bodies of ours sometimes ?

I'm in a no man's land with my iron levels. Docs say it's healthy/OK but been trying to give blood and it's not good enough for others. Shame as it's pretty rare too! Hope you get your mojo back....
