It’s now two months since knee pain sent me hobbling to the physio.
3 sessions and in sports massage later there’s still no clear answer on why I can run up to between 6k and 8k without problems but no further. Strength training continues and I’ve been limited to runs of 5k for the past few weeks.
I’m going to start building up distance again and see what happens - hoping that a few lighter weeks have helped and I have a 10k booked in June. I’m also wondering about an indoor bike to expand my cross training. Any recommendations? And are there any you can link to Garmin / Strava, because as we all know if it’s not on there it didn’t happen 😀

Thanks. I think the strength work will come good but it takes a long time. I’m learning lots and am getting more disciplined at foam rolling.
I fancied an exercise bike as less faffing about getting ready and don’t have to worry about traffic. It’s odd as I only ever run outside but I’m just not inspired to ride. Anyway I stupidly ran my plans past the better half tonight and apparently an exercise bike is not allowed but she might consider a cross trainer. 😀😀
Good luck with the build up. We were talking about exercise bikes today. I always fancied hooking one up to a washing machine so when I pedalled the washing went round!
