5K done on Sunday. What do I do now?! 😱

Hello everybody,

So I did my first 5K on Sunday, what did you do to build up to running 10k. I’m a bit out on my own (my running partner is out with a knee injury) so I need so guidance!

Thanks

Yes, agree 100% with the Magic 10 Plan idea. I’m on my 4th time through it, it’s so much fun. 😀👍🏃‍♀️

Magic 10. Is did the time version first but now doing the distance. It’s brilliant way to structure the running week and gets you to 10k easily. 🏃🏻‍♀️😊

First, congratulations! Being old and injury prone, I had to graduate twice, and I've been doing consolidation runs of 5k and less for a few weeks, before now starting on JuJu's magic 10 plan.

Well done on running 5k Berta. As you only graduated a few days ago I would suggest you consolidate for 3 weeks before increasing distance further . You don’t seem to have received the link to the advice given to new graduates so I’ll try and find it for you.
