Another blustery one - today a mixture of road and trail (but mostly trail๐Ÿ˜€). I had planned to run another 10k but also to push on if I felt as good as I did last weekend. Again, the weather was my ideal running weather ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ and the bridleways still muddy and puddle strewn - one track in particular had been really churned up by horses, making it really hard to keep running and stay upright in places! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I also found myself with very heavy, mud-encased feet at times (!) which made the going quite tough at times - quite glad to hit a concrete farm track which helped the mud fall off! My last couple of k were run back on the local roads near my house - and somehow I judged it so that I hit 13k just as I approached home! Really pleased with how I felt (although let's see how the legs feel tomorrow!) and am now starting to think I should look around for a second HM to train for, having not been able to train for my local one after a miserable winter of illness! It really is a journey, this running thing - and sometimes we have to sit out for a few miles. But doesn't it feel great to get back out there? Happy running this weekend and for those on the IC, hope you are back on the road soon.๐Ÿ˜€

Sounds like a fantastic run Sandra and a great sign of things to come! Best to just forget this last winter.

That sounds like a brilliant run! And 13k! With slippery mud and puddles! Sounds like you should definitely find a HM to train for ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

That sounded like such a fun run Sandra. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€ Iโ€™m very impressed with your 13k, a distance Iโ€™ve never attempted and Iโ€™m not sure if I will! Yes, go on, find a HM! Youโ€™ll smash it - and after all we want to hear your journey. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Happy running Sandra. Glad youโ€™re back on form. ๐Ÿ‘Š
