Ran 11k today, which is the farthest I have run to date. This also included a PB of 51:06 for 10k, which was nice.
Weather was great apart from the wind which was particularly testing over the last 2k. Also saw some wildlife, a muntjack deer, which I scared to death as I ran past.
Need a good couple of days off now, as my lower calf is grumbling. I never seem to be able to get rid of all of the little niggles!
Happy running

Go Visionon! That’s a great distance and time. Your pace is, as always, very speedy. That’s a great achievement!! You can recover with a contented smile! Well done you! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😍❤️
Huge well done to you! And with this weather too. 👏👏💨💨💦💦 That’s a mighty respectable time for 11k and congratulations on your 10k PB. You’re miles quicker than I am, so I enjoy reading gazelle posts hoping that I’ll get a bit faster by osmosis! 😅
Interesting what you say about not many gazelles🦓 posting anything on the C25K or Graduate10 posts on Healthunlocked, so it's nice to hear from one or two, yes 🏃 running around 50 or 25 minutes for a 10K or 5K respectively could be considered as just getting into the gazelle🦓category. 😊
Sounds like me. Although I'm not in your league speed wise. Take care not to pick up those injuries and remember there is much joy to be had by slowing things down. It's not easy running slow as I found out but it helps on the long runs.
