Hello lovely B210Kers (written like that nearly says Bonkers!)

Just checking in, as I love the support from this group.

First Park Run coming up on Saturday, so quite excited about that. Today, in the extraordinary wind, I did my first continuous 40 minute run, so am really pleased. Inching up, week by week next five mins, next km, slowly but surely, heading towards the ultimate goal.

👏👏👏 Great work!!

I was up to 40 mins but now back to 30 as struggled to do 20 last couple of times out - if that makes sense.

Will try to build back up to 40 after another couple of 30s then I will be on your heels 😂

No Park Runs near me so will have to think of something else to aim for.🔔🍰🌻

It does make sense, some days/weeks it's just a bit harder than others, and ultimately there is no hurry!

Exactly and 3 months ago I could only just manage 60 seconds 😂😂😂

Well, there you go. Bravo, that is ultimately what it is all about.

Well, "enjoy" may be stretching things - running uphill into a head wind was pretty tough (ended up walking that bit so that I might actually complete the rest of the course!) but my friend and I, both first timers, registered 31.56 so we were pretty chuffed considering conditions and the state of the ground! What I did "enjoy" was the cake and coffee afterwards in the cafe....

Yes excellent time for your first one and for those conditions. 👍
