I might need to re-evaluate the goal I set myself to get 5k in under 40 minutes by the 7th April.....
Today was one of those days when everything was just right. I felt comfortable, breathing was a little fast at times, but hey, I was pushing myself a bit. My aim of today’s run was to try to increase my stride length a bit. I managed that a little but also slightly increased the cadence and kept going at the same steady pace for the whole run.
So yeah. As well as being rested and hydrated and not stressed out at work I recommend having a dark bounty in the car on the way home from work, just to boost the energy 😃
