Finished week 2!

I’ve struggled with my last couple of runs (physically and mentally to keep motivated), I think I was aiming for too much speed to quickly - I’m not fast generally but am impatient! Anyway slowed myself down today, just stepped up the speed a bit on the last Km and completed my first 6k in just under 48 mins. Juju’s plan suits me, I’m hopeful to stay on track and be at 10K by mid-April 🤞

Well done! 👍🏻 You did really well especially stepping up the speed for the last km! 😃

Always a school day🤣, JuJu's plan is excellent. You're doing well!

I approached 10k cautiously aiming to just get the distance and not bother about speed. When it got to the 2x 8k and 2x9k stages on Ju-ju's plan I ran the first run carefully and put a bit more oomph into the second. It worked for me. Sure you will be fine 😊

Thanks, my nature is to be too over zealous to start (and then usually give up!). This forum has been really good at helping me manage my expectations, have to say otherwise I think I’d have given up about 2 weeks into C25K 😂!!

I think my age has made taking a cautious approach seem much more palatable.. I am not troubled by having any choice😊

Good call on reducing your pace Chester01 - slow and steady is still a good motto to run by! 😀
