Lovely morning. Managed to get organised and got out for a run. 9km. My fastest 9km even though I was taking it slowly so it looks like running up hills does help!

Happy running everyone πŸ˜€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸŒ

Good going Baddie, and time to take a fab photo too 😊 - and hills, eh! Can't live with them - err, can't being myself to finish that quote πŸ˜‚

Stellar effort as ever BTP. Had sun wind and rain on this morning's little 3.5k trot. I gather snow is on the horizon, so we need to get some good runs in the bank. Have revolutionised my training routine. Flat white and toasted tea cake post run instead of chocolate brownie....lots of research and impact analysis required to assess the benefits!πŸͺπŸ©β˜•οΈπŸ˜‹

I’m certain, absolutely certain that chocolate brownie is good for you! I’ve done my own extensive testing πŸ€“. I had fish and leeks post long run today. I decided to up my protein post run, and eat the higher carb oats later.

I will take your advice as always😊😊

Not sure you should take my advice where chocolate in any form is involved?!

I’ll risk it πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Ok, this is very interesting. I am partial to a chilli chocolate brownie made with different chocolate types, with a tiny bit of stodge inside like a fondant and a slight crust on the outside... (dribble...) ooh yes! Well done on your run baddie! πŸ˜‰

Oh yum! I like strawberries dipped in chilli chocolate and chilled. My friend made a finger food pudding once which was quartered strawberries heaped up with frozen grapes and scattered with broken up pieces of chilli chocolate πŸ˜‹

Fabulous Baddie. Taking it slow, going faster. You can’t get any better than that! Well done you! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

Great run Baddie. Fastest 9k but feeling you were taking it steady - that’s my kind of run πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you. I really had to push myself to get out there. Felt great afterwards as always πŸ˜„

Well done Baddie! Glad to hear the hills are doing their magic πŸ˜€

Oh no, that means I'll have to do more of them. Current plan is once a week. At least it doesn't take long to do 2km warm up and then run up and down a few times.

Well done πŸ‘πŸ» how lovely to be taking it slowly and finding it faster πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

I did try and go a bit faster on the way home (downhill) so I could get in to work quickly where I'm up to my ears at the moment.

Hill reps do help. But why do they have to be so hard work?

BaddieThePirate profile image
BaddieThePirateGraduate10β€’ in reply toKatnap

I feel like I'm going to die when I'm doing them, but I'm more alive and kicking than ever half an hour and a shower afterwards.

Well done Baddie! I will try to keep up with the hills as well. Though I have my inaugural 10K coming up at the end of the week, so I may stay off the hills for that one! 😲😲🀞
