only did 30mins on stair climber and 20 mins rowing started doing some weights and i think i pulled a muscle in my chest

it is painful rowing and stair climber was ok just lifting

Paul... maybe, as I suggested in a reply to your earlier post... relax the gym work and just get some runs in now...the long slow runs build up the stamina and the strength you need for your long runs..you don't want to cause any injury to stop you doing your race:) You do need rest days too:)

Paul1960 - The trigger for the start of my weight loss and running were some chest pains a few years ago. Bit of a concern. Did the full hospital check up. Doctor looked at my results and said. Its not a heart problem it's intercostilitis. He went further and said "If you are going to do exercise I would recommend a support". (Bra). So basically my man boobs were pulling muscles in my ribs.
