Headed out tonight for the first run of week three, after having the last week off - i quite like the cold, but it turns out sheet ice on the pavement is where i draw the line. I hadn't had a week off in about four months, so i'm selling it as a recovery week 😁.

Anyway, headed out thinking i'd do at least the 5k then see how i felt, and inevitably ended up doing the 7k. I managed it in 48 mins, deliberately going a bit slower than normal, which to be honest i'm more chuffed about than the distance. This time last year, running for 48 minutes continuously was completely unimaginable!

Lovely to get back to it, was feeling really cooped up last week. Loads of runners out there doing the same as well! Wednesday intervals to look forward to now (i really should plan not to do these on bin day, the wheely bin steeplechase can be interesting when you're trying your best to run at speed 😁).
