That is some list Razouski, it's up to Jancanrun to make up a playlist of at least some of those titles, perhaps Jan will contact you..

Hidden and I have already talked about this and she's happy to do the Spotify thing, as my playlist is on Deezer.

If it’s on Spotify can anyone play it Razouski, or will it be for those who pay? I haven’t used it much.

Razouski in reply to Dexy5

I think anyone can use it - Hidden will probably put it in the Retro Runners collection for everyone to use. I've never used Spotify so I'm not sure how it works.

That's a great playlist - looking forward to hearing it . Do let us know what you call it when it's up and ready Hidden . The great thing about this forum is that it covers all ages and shares knowledge.

You probably didn’t imagine you were running with Nigel havers like me

Razouski profile image
Razouski in reply to Dexy5

Nigel Havers doesn't really do it for me, I'm more of an Idris Elba or Denzil Washington kinda girl (obviously I've used poetics licence with the word girl ;-) )

Oooh sorry Dexy5 I'll edit when on my computer.

I also forgot FenderTelecaster 's When The Tough Gets Going, sorry.

I was going to include some Queen a I could do We Will Rock You and also recently saw the new Film "Bohemian Rhapsody" over Christmas - but I already have a Queen playlist. I've also already bored people with "Keep Yourself Alive" twice already, as it's one of my favourite Queen songs to run too. Let me do an edit and add some Queen in. 👍🏽

Love Queen ,💕

I have my own Queen playlist, unsurprisingly I have titled it "Ready Freddie Go"

Razouski in reply to Jell6

Excellent, I'm going to be thinking of you next time I run to Freddie.

🤩😊, I had to add some ballads, I was going like the clappers!

I love the Pearl Bailey One. I had to wrack my brains to remember who did it 🤔

When I was little I used to call Harry Belafonte, “Arabella Fonte” 😁☺️

Irishprincess profile image

Fab playlist! That would keep you going on an epic run 🙂

Razouski profile image
Razouski in reply to Irishprincess

Indeed it will. In fact I used it for my 8 km at the gym the other day, then when I played it today for my run (on shuffle obviously) I didn't have any repeats, so it is probably good enough for a half marathon. I think any new suggestions I will start a #2musical theatre playlist so that I can alternate between them. ;-)

Oh Razouski. 😂 I only saw the word film and not the connection to musical theatre. Probably because I was doing too many things at once again. Not sure my tracks were west end worthy but love them anyway. Made me giggle at my self. I can be such a dizz pot. There’s always one isn’t there.

😂😂😂

Oh Wimborne you do make me giggle. Maybe we should start another playlist for best film soundtrack tracks. If you know what I mean.

I am very used to giggling at myself... 😊. A good giggle works wonders for me. Am very happy to share the giggles too.

Flippin heck Razouski ...you could run 10 marathons on this lot!! There's some fab tracks on here Raz, I wouldn't be able to stop myself breaking into character...one minute Julie Andrews, next minute Billy Elliot!! Look forward to taking the playlist out with me!!! X

Razouski profile image
Razouski in reply to Mummycav

Mummycav I think there is just enough for a half marathon, and as I'm hoping to do another one later in the year it will be good to have a playlist long enough. I ran to it on Friday and when I ran again today I didn't have a single repeat - which was good as you know how short my boredom threshold is. ;-)

Mummycav profile image
MummycavAdministratorGraduate10 in reply to Razouski

Lol...yep, mine too...I don’t like repeats....xx half marathon!? You are a warrior xx

Razouski profile image
Razouski in reply to Mummycav

I ran the distance twice by myself last year and once at an event. However I was so disappointed with the race I chose I now feel I should do a more scenic one to see if I enjoy it more. I was hoping to do one in Italy with Jancanrun but not sure if I can make the date as it clashes with my daughter’s birthday. 😟 so I may have to apply for a UK one in the interim. In fact I’ve applied for ballot if the Royal Parks Half, but that’s not until October!

Ooooo fingers crossed xx
