I have finally got my act in order and created the self-same list on Spotify, to save us all time - it is under the Retro Runners banner as a 60s Special
Imjabi spent ages just now trying to download Spotify from AppStore. I did it but nothing would induce it to work. So started again and i’m In. Just got to upload your playlist. I’m going in. Might see you next week 😬
so as I understand it if you follow my name - you can access all my playlists.... But if you have the cheap version like I do ( the free one) then you do get interrupted by adverts. If you go premium you don’t get them. But I seem to ignore the adverts anyway. although pesky fruit based phone does seem to have a bad habit of flicking back to iTunes. And that totally ruins my vibe - if I’m in the 60s and then I get the best of the 80s, it’s a real problem....
Sorry in Bologna with friends and not online much. Spotify standard requires mobile data switched on. If you have premium you can listen off line. They often have trial offers for premium but as I found out the offline capability only lasts as long as you have premium. I thought I could “download” all my playlists and keep them for when I was on standard rate. No such luck it’s an American tech company JCR and they’d already thought of that loophole and closed it. Tech stuff isn’t necessarily that easy to understand - I worked for one of them for 10+ years so have a tiny advantage on understanding some of the things they do- but when it goes tits up I ask Mr JCR he worked in tech pretty much all his career..
One tech glitch I have found is that for some reason if I pause a run for example I’m buying water and I pause the map my run app, often Spotify picks up one of its own random lists and starts there and I have to repick my own playlist. It may do similar on runkeeper - worth knowing hope this helps
