Knee support

Has anyone here used a knee support and more importantly has it worked? Last Saturday I ran 5k parkrun, later that day I started to get a pain on the outside of my knee, making my calf muscle feel stiff. After a week the pain has pretty much gone but still seems stiff. Thought I’d give it a few more days before trying to run again but also wondering if a support would help. Never had a problem before so it’s a new one to me.

I did and it helped. However, I found the NHS knee exercises for runners sorted out my problem completely:

Thanks for that. Did wonder if strengthening exercises might help

Another vote for checking out knee strengthening exercises. Also, I had a few knee issues when my IT band was tight, so might be worth looking that up as well. Hope things settle soon for you.🙂
