Is there an app?

Hi, I completed my C25K in December. I have a plan for the next few weeks but was wondering if you’re following a plan or app for the bridge to 10k. Apologies if I’ve missed something obvious on here, still trying to find my way around. Thank you.

Hi NikNakNoodle, congratulations on completing the c25k plan and Graduating. I see you plan to consolidate for a few weeks while you continue to build stamina and strenghen your running legs.

Once you feel that you are able to manage a 5k run fairly comfortably, you might like to try increasing your running distance using Ju Ju's 10 is the Magic Number plan. Lots of us have followed Ju Ju's safe and effective plan that has three different length runs each week and successfully reached 10k in about 10 weeks. It's a rolling program so you can start with Wk 1 when you are ready, and you will find lots of other folk on here doing it alongside you.

You might like to have a go at the c25k+ podcasts (stepping stones, speed and stamina) for something different once you have consolidated your 30 minutes of running. Here is a link to those....

There are apps out there that will take you to 10k, some like Sammi Murphy use walk breaks, but I found these quite difficult and tiring as the runs get longer, and found Ju Ju's plan is satisfying and fun. 😊x
